A Personal Touch

I must say, P&P is loving the wonderful newfound space gained having settled into the new house – from the ‘girlie’ kitchen suppers whilst Green Fingers sits happily in the sitting room with his gardening books and television (rather more of the latter), to weekend dinner parties of 8 (compared to 4 people crammed around a tiny table). I could definitely get used to this!

However, the one downside of moving from a 2 bedroom flat into a 4 bedroom house (I did have to think twice!), is not having enough furniture and pictures to fill it. As much as I would love to trawl art galleries and fairs for wonderful works of art, I sadly don’t have the time or the pennies – credit crunch my dears!

Anyway,I've discovered a brilliant (and more reasonable) alternative. While searching the SL directory for ideas I came across The Canvas Lounge.

It offers the most fabulous canvas prints – they have a vast range on their website you can choose from. But I went for the option to put your own photographs onto canvas – and all you need to do is download your photograph and choose the size.

It’s much less time consuming than trawling the shops, or, god forbid, even painting yourself (sadly I didn't inherit my mother's talent for all things paint related)! Hurrah, my walls are filled!
