Another Corker...

We all get one every year don’t we. That dreaded present from the great auntie that you have to look excited about as the entire family watch you do your ‘Oh wow that’s gorgeous’ face (remember the reindeer jumper in Bridget Jones?!). Needless to say this year was no different for me.

I won’t go in to details in case on the off chance that the person who gave it to me has worked out how to use a computer and might be reading this, but all I will say is that this year was an absolute corker. So bad even my slightly eccentric auntie had a good giggle at the prospect of me wearing it too.

Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean to be ungrateful, but I'm just intrigued as to what on earth goes through her mind when she pictures me in such things...

Luckily this year, the rather bemusing present was from Monsoon and thankfully they are very happy to exchange.

I’ve been having a little perusal round their site and have fallen head over heels in love with this Cairo Gem Clutch Bag from Accessorize. Very Lanvin / Marniesque and it'll make the perfect accessory for my new year’s party tonight!
