Bamboo-izing Your Fashion Life...

Kung Fu Panda is in theatres now. Go see it, if only to hear the ‘Master’ Tigress, Angelina. Could there be a better typecast of the lovely but formidable Ms. Jolie? Doubt it.

Talking about pandas, I wanted to let you in on a little secret: the most comfortable summer fabric because it is 100% breathable and wicks off moisture, the fabric with the sexiest, jersey-like drape, the fabric so buttery-soft you want to live in it (goodbye cashmere) and the fabric now being used to produce some of the most stylish pieces your wardrobe has ever met, is none other than the natural food of pandas. Honest. It’s bamboo.

Bamboo is an ultra eco fabric for many reasons but one has to be careful to vet bamboo clothing/fabric because it’s now also being done on the ‘cheap’ which is neither environmentally nor ethically up to scratch.
