Bathing in Bath & All Its Beauty...

A couple of weekends ago I was whisked off for a romantic weekend in Bath. We stayed in what can only be described as an idyllic Peter Rabbit cottage, went on long walks, played endless backgammon, ate enormous amounts and drank even more. Heaven!

Being me I couldn’t resist a quick trip into Bath centre to sample the delights of all their boutiques. After all it is known for them! The little cobbled streets are filled with little havens brimming with furniture, gifts and gorgeous clothes. I was in my element!

I won’t bore you with them all but I do just have to tell you about two of particular note.

First stop was Mee Boutique. I’d heard so much about this shop from so many different people that it had a lot to live up to... and it most certainly did!

At the very top of Bath, on a small street and perfectly situated next to a sushi restaurant (my favourite) a little girly world exists. It’s full of the yummiest gifts, books, clothes and shoes. It had everything a girl could wish for and it's every girl's dream to own such a place!

Next stop was Redwood Bay, an absolute gem full of furniture, accessories and some divine kitchen goodies that even I was tempted by (and I'm no Nigella)!

I’ve fallen for their Manolos & Slippers Shoe Cabinet that comes with a bag in each draw to keep your precious friends safe. Such a sweet idea and one I know I could put to good use!

For those that don't have Bath on their doorstep, both stores sell online - thank heavens for the web!
