The sentiment of the following poem (the origin of which is not known) drives our household and in particular my husband, who uses it as an excuse to get away with MURDER but it makes us all think –

Some of us use the poem as a reason travel to far off places if the opportunity arises rather than being too sensible; some of us take on challenges that we might otherwise have considered either too dangerous, or we haven’t got time to do. Then there is me.

I do all of the above although I do admit to sometimes being a bit too sensible when we’re asked to go somewhere and I feel we’ve been away too much or that I might miss the dogs or the children ‘might’ need me whilst I’m away...

...They probably won’t and the dogs are happy as long as they get fed, watered and walked, so who am I kidding?

For us ladies, when it comes to looking after our skin, the above it certainly a good lesson... because the later we leave it the harder it will be. So, I thoroughly recommend exercising the mouse, acting now and purchasing some great products from Elemis because their anti-aging products are really second to none.

Also recommended are Duchess Marden at Puresha and Boots’ well publicised No 7 Protect and Perfect range – they’re certainly value for money and very good to take travelling as the packaging is so light.
