Lynda's Blog

Lynda loves running her interior design business, L Interiors , mostly because she has such wonderful clients (most of which become friends) and partly because it takes her abroad to wonderful places.

Lynda lives in the country – although as she much as she loves it, she’s an ex Notting Hill girlie and couldn’t do it 24/7! Her favourite online stores are GlamOnWeb.com (La Perla), JimmyChoo.com, Hush-UK.com and bbr.com (Berry Bros) because they supply her with the most delicious champagne!

Days In St Tropez...
Published on Monday 6th August 2007

I’ve just returned from the south of France - under no pretence was this a work trip - this was five full days of horizontal relaxation by the pool drinking the local rose, ' Les Petits Recoltes, Vin de Pays des Maures.

Highly recommended, it was purchased from Nicolas … so I’ll be online tomorrow ordering a case now that the sun has decided to make an appearance.

hermes enamel braceletWe did leave the Villa for a short while to shop in St Tropez. It’s buzzing at the moment - I even tried to purchase an Hermes enamel bracelet to go with my growing collection, but the queue was so long I had to leave it...that’s St Tropez for you ! That said, now that Hermes boutique is available to the UK, I can shop there instead.

Now I know I bang on about colour, but in the wake of our awful weather you have to agree, we really need some splashed around our home...

lynda villa marieAnd no better place to inspire than the South of France. I went to Villa Marie for a couple of days of pampering. The Spa is wonderful and I so recommend the products, in particular the serenity mountain body oil (great for body massage) and the Snow Velvet body lotion.

It’s beautiful up there overlooking the bay. It's an extremely chilled hotel away from the buzz of St Tropez where the use of colour is perfect.

Check out Pierre Frey and Designers Guild for similar fabrics...but most of all check out the Hotel then you can see what I’m talking about… pure heaven ! I want to visit the one in Megeve next.
