Feed your footwear fetish... Published on Thursday 2nd November 2006
Now listen up, J-I-M-M-Y C-H-O-O has opened its very own eboutique! Tamara Mellon and her team have wised up to the benefit that ecommerce can make to their bottom line and in doing so, have set the standard for the kind of global luxury retailers that can now sell their wares, without compromising their brand, in their very own online stores.
There's plenty of the Autumn / Winter collection online to make you salivate. If you're a die hard fashionista then this season you'll be wearing platform pumps. They look fabulous with cocoon coats and skinny jeans and I just love their contemporary take on the classic Mary Jane - Friday Mary Jane Platform Shoe (£460). You'll have seen these rather risqué patent black Open Toe Platform Shoes (£450) on Molly Sims in their sexy Autumn ad campaign. Not for the fainthearted.

For a more demure look, there's a great range of courts to choose from. The Lena Suede / Watersnake Shoe (£335) will carry you through from day to night in style.

There's a lot of grey, navy and black out there this winter. Add a touch of Christmas colour to your outfit with these pillar box red Always Suede / Watersnake Dorsay Sandals (£395).

They retail a good selection of their bridal shoes online. Finding the right wedding footwear isn't easy and there's a lot of cr*p out there, so why not treat yourself to some Jimmy's on your big day. You can always have them dyed afterwards. You really can't beat their silk satin sling backs. Gill Silk Satin Slingback (£300).

Last but by no means least comes accessories. There are clutches, totes and purses that you will long for. The Cosmo Metallic Evening Bag (£595) and the Tam Pony Leopard Print and Leather Handbag (£950) are just a couple of my favourites.

So go on, have a look, you know you want to.
