"I love white because it never goes out of fashion" says Nick Burrin, founder of New England Lifestyle  . This fabulous homeware shop sells absolutely everything.... yes, you've guessed it, in white. From bookcases, to sofas to mirrors.
 The feel and look of this neutral furniture is supposed to conjure up feelings of seaside clapper board holiday homes and beaches.
Although you wouldn't necessarily want your whole house decorated in New England Lifestyle, in moderation the furniture is pure elegance. And yes, walking into the showroom you do certainly get that holiday feeling- which surely can only be a good thing.
I agree with Nick - white definitely never falters in the fashion stakes- and you can't deny how good a bathroom looks when it's all painted wood slats and fluffy white towels.
So I've decided that I'm ordering the delectable white and wood coffee table but I think I'll steer clear of the white sofa and arm chair. My fake tan and snotty nephew might ruin the 'purity' effect somewhat.
