Get Set For Autumn...

At this time of year it’s difficult for us girls to know what to wear. Having stocked our wardrobes with all summer’s key pieces, the season has almost past with most of them not having had a look in. So I’ll just have to hope that I’ve shopped sensibly enough for some of it to do me next Spring / Summer too.

Current holiday time (though sadly it's soon to come to an end) has afforded me blissful time to read as much trashy fiction as I can get my hands on and trawl September issue magazines front to back.

And when the weather took a turn for the worse, I ventured inside to the laptop and couldn’t resist a surf through the designer collections at Style.com to get me inspired for a bit of Autumn / Winter retail. When I get home and get back to a slightly faster broadband connection that is.

Surely every girl needs a little treat when she gets home to overcome the post holiday blues?

I’ve a penchant for bows – it was all over shoes last season – and much to my delight, the bow has made its way on to clothes for Autumn/Winter too.

Never too far behind the designer collections, the high street has followed and is doing it just as well. Warehouse has a great selection of gorgeous bow blouses inspired by the Sexy Secretary look (pictured, left £45).

And I’m mad about this divine mustard bow tie jacket from French Connection (pictured, right £140) – it’ll look fab with black pants. The only problem is that it’s not on sale until the 27th August. Put it on your diary, set a reminder on your phone and on your marks, get set for Autumn… and GO GIRLS!!!!
