Getting Creative...

Having decided that the financial world wasn’t quite right for Pashminas and Pearls, she’s now getting very used to (and rather enjoying!) being a lady of leisure…albeit temporarily!

I think Green Fingers is getting a little concerned I’m enjoying it too much, although he is appreciating a happier P & P and having an extra pair of hands to help him – don’t panic, I’ve put my foot down to manual labour and anything that might spoil my mani!

What a luxury being able to meet friends for lunch and not having to rush back to my desk within the hour – something I know my mother is enjoying ; she likes nothing better than a good gossip over a leisurely lunch with a glass or two of fizz to go with.

Mother in mind, I usually tend to go for choccies and a bunch of flowers for Mother’s Day but thought this year, with a bit more time on my hands, I’d do something different - something a bit more original and creative and something she can keep to remember her darling daughter! A girl friend recommended CreativeCutouts.co.uk.

It’s a great way to do something different and creative with photos - I’ve opted for a cut out of my mother’s Labrador (devoted is an understatement), but pictures of the rest of the family work equally well too.

If you’re reading this then you’re probably too late for Mother’s Day but it’s definitely on my ‘favourites’ list for Father’s Day – the perfect pressie for his desk.
