Hair at last - a designer that has finally suceeded in making head bands cool. Stacey Lapidus  has launched her online shop selling jewel-tastic designs.
The former fashion accessories editor at Vanity Fair, and before that Kate Spade employee, knows a thing or two about great accessories.
Lapidus has combined her love for antique jewellery with rich fabrics such as velvet, silk and chiffon. The end result is hair jewellery that’s quite angelic - whilst also, of course functional - allowing us girls with long locks to wear it long but out of the eyes.
 My personal fave is the Double Braided Silk Headband with Cystals (pictured, $200) available in either - pink, ivory, lilac or grey.
Although they may seem a little pricey – rest assured they will look it. Comments of admiration come a plenty. It’s quite obvious it’s not a £5 Accessorize imitation.
As well as headbands there's also jewellery to drool over in a similar style.
The American based website is quite simply a gem and I was jumping for joy in my diamonte slippers when I realised they ship to the UK.
