Holiday Horizons

After the rush of Christmas, the novelty of cosy nights in is already wearing off – well, ever since I finished the entire box set of Gavin and Stacey! I thought the Scott Mills show on Radio 1 had ruined that phrase ‘what’s occurring’ for me forever but now, once again it’s a frequent saying in my house – the battle is who has the best welsh accent!

So, since I have a bit more time on my hands post-box set, I’ve been spending my time trying to book a long-awaited holiday to the sun. We’ve decided to ditch the slopes for another year (we’ve had enough cold and snow in the last few weeks) and it’s now a toss up between South Africa and Thailand...

Having not ventured further afield than Europe for a good few years, I’m struggling to come to terms with the price of flights.
For someone that hates, and I mean HATES flying, the thought of spending hundreds on an experience which I will hate every minute of is a bit of a hurdle which I know I have to overcome...

Whatever the outcome, a revamp of the summer wardrobe (well at least a few additions) is definitely in order and with the trickle of new Spring/Summer pieces coming in, it’s getting me very excited! Lots of pastels and romantic ruffles (right up my street) to get me tempted!

On my scout for what's new I came across this new Anya Hindmarch Beach Bag – perfect for my holiday and after these flights the only chance of getting my Anya fix this season. Well, with prices this steep, the heavenly Rollin is definitely not on the cards...
