It's all in a name... Published on Thursday 7th September 2006
Babington House isn't just one of the most fabulous hotels in the English countryside, but it's also home to the original Cowshed Spa. From the Cowshed Spa comes a health and beauty range that I adore for its quirkiness - think Cowshed products and you think mad cow (!) - all the products have the most refreshing, tounge-in-cheek names known to the world of beauty (Cheeky Cow moisturiser, Dirty Cow hand wash & Stroppy Cow massage oil to name a few!).
But these whacky names don't detract from the effectiveness of the products. They're all 100% vegetarian (in case you were worried?!) and made from destressing essential oils and hand picked herbs from their very own Babington walled garden.
The range includes bath and body, oils, skincare and spa products, as well as a 'Baby Cow' and a 'Bullocks for men' range. What's more, it all comes in equally flamboyant packaging:

Nowdays, no self-respected beauty brand is complete without a candle range - they just keep coming and we can't get enough of them! When I was little the only candles ever seen in our house were on the dining table or if there was a power cut - now a home just isn't the same without a beautiful candle wafting heavenly aromas throughout.
I'm delighted to tell you that Cowshed has its own new candle range, and it doesn't disappoint, in fragrance, packaging or in name!
Chose from three different fragrances and three different sizes:
The Knackered Cow Relaxing Gift / Travel Set (lavender, eucalyptus and maychang oils) is just the thing to make your room smell yummy on hols - 4x 5cl candles (£18).

The Lazy Cow Soothing Room Candle (a blend of blue chamomile, jasmine, rose, lily of the valley and sandalwood) is a great value and gorgous pressie - a 31cl candle (£25).

The Grumpy Cow Uplifting House Candle (lime, lemon, cardamom, palmarosa and coriander) might sound pricey, but will last for hours (130 to be precise!) - a 1.8kg candle (£125).
