Miller Sisters Making Their Mark... Published on Monday 6th August 2007
So they’re both blonde, beautiful, successful and they’ve both got great names.
If you read Sunday Times Style (if you didn’t then why not?!) or ES magazine over the weekend then you’ll know who I’m talking about because you won’t have failed to notice the beautiful Miller sisters gracing the front covers.
Not only has Sienna managed to successfully conquer the movie industry but she, along with her sister Savannah Miller are set to conquer the equally critical fashion industry.
Far more low key than her film star sister, Savannah avoids her sister’s premieres (unless it’s to promote her new venture) lives in Stroud with her two boys and from what we hear, a pretty divine husband.
She’s got a sought after fashion degree under her belt and is too achieving her dream: as a fashion designer. It’s clear Savannah’s the real talent behind the brand but frankly we don’t blame her for using her sister’s fame to catapult it into the lime light.
The girls aren’t setting out to create cutting edge fashion; they’re setting out to create collections that are timeless but up to date; understated yet stylish; high quality but somewhat bohemian in their feel.
And in my mind they’ve successfully created an aspirational collection that does all that.
Twenty8Twelve (named after Sienna’s birth date) will be available to purchase online at www.My-Wardrobe.com and prices are surprisingly affordable (there’s plenty around the £100 mark – although the to die for leather jacket is a bit more) so you can be pretty sure you’ll be seeing it again here soon.
Until then we thought we’d give you a sneak peek at one of our favourite pieces from the collection. (Betty Dress, £230 pictured) Well done girls.
