After a bit of inspiration for some home accessories I was having a browse through Laura Ashley’s spring summer collection and whilst I was there I thought I'd just have a quick look at their new fashion collection and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised!

Modelled by the oh so gorgeous Poppy Delivigne I suppose it’s no surprise to see the clothes look good - after all the girl could make a binbag look like desirable fashion but how she has a minute to sleep, let alone breathe, is quite beyond me.

Every brand (Anya Hindmarch, Pyjama Room and now Laura Ashley to name but a few) under the sun is after a piece of this leggy blonde that has the power to make everything she models - be it bags, swimwear or nightwear - look glamorous and irresistible.

And whether it’s down to Miss Delivigne or not, Laura Ashley certainly looks like it has moved forward in the fashion stakes.

Gone are endless pages of, dare I say it, middle aged attire and in to replace it is a collection of sweet feminine frills, puff sleeves and quirky prints.

I’m loving the Broderie Ruffle Puff Sleeve Blouse and the Balloon Sleeve Dress (pictured).
