Polyfilla For Your Skin...
Published on Wednesday 26th March 2008

I’m sure you’ll agree that other than a full on facelift and serious amounts of botox you can never actually completely reverse the signs of ageing. Ageing is inevitable and how gracefully you do it is down to genetics, how much time you spend in the sun and how you look after your skin.

The looking after bit IS important. You’d never expect your hair to always look ‘like you’ve just stepped out of the salon’ if you didn’t wash it and regularly visit the hairdressers. Same with your skin. I’m not saying there are any miracle cures but if you have a routine that you stick to then you should be ok.

And I’m a believer in upgrading as you get older. Use the creams that contain the anti-oxidants and the anti-wrinkle stuff when you start to see signs of ageing – it won’t make you look 21 again but it can help!

tri aktiline caroline blogI’ve recently been reading about, and have subsequently purchased (all in the name of research) the latest ‘miracle cure for wrinkles’. You’ve probably heard of it too as I’ve read about it just about every where.

Tri-Aktiline: Instant Deep Wrinkle Filler is apparently like polyfilla for your skin! It claims to visibly reduce wrinkle depth and length and is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles.

I’m lucky, I don’t have many wrinkles... yet. But I spent the Easter Break at home and talked my Mum into being my product guinea pig! She applied the cream onto her lines and wrinkles and there was I promise you a really visible difference.

The cream is very smooth and not heavy or oily. It just slides on and absorbs instantly which left Mum looking smoother and her wrinkles less noticeable.

With a daughter in the beauty biz Mum has tried allsorts and has a collection of half-used pots on her dressing table to prove it. This one however I believe will be finished. In fact when I was packing to come home she checked 3 times that I had left it for her!

So, it might not be the miracle cure that we're all waiting for (ie it doesn’t take 20 years off overnight!) but it certainly does what it says on the tin. A good investment I reckon – but hurry before it sells out - my mum has told everyone she knows already!
