Return To Glory...

It’s always sad when we have to say goodbye to our interns, who quickly become adopted members of the SheerLuxe family, so when the time came for the ever-stylish Kate to head back to sunny California, it was only right that we saw her off in style.

But with our next conference fast approaching and deadlines to meet, we needed treats that could happen in house.

Cue the wonderful Hummingbird Bakery and their heavenly cupcakes, a sumptuous sushi feast from Itsu (we’re mad for their Maki), and copious amounts of Pimm’s to wash it all down.

When making the transition from French Soles to sandals (let’s face it – we might have been drinking Pimm’s, but the Californian summer is on a different scale), a girl’s got to have her toes looking tip top.

Which is why we enlisted the help of the wonderful Michelle at super duper mobile beauty therapy company Return to Glory (they'll come to your office, your home, your hen party), to sort out our Converse-worn tootsies and get us all ready for baring feet in our new sandals.

The perfect pedi is harder to find than the mythical Manolo Mary Janes, but it seemed like the beauty gods were smiling down on us – starting at lunch time, Michelle worked her way around the entire office; she left no scraggy cuticle unexfoliated and my paintwork is still going strong 2 weeks later.

So as we Returned to Glory (Michelle can definitely come again), Kate returned to the sunny States. Luckily, we can still check in on Kate’s adventures via her SheerLuxe blog, whilst she is soaking up the Californian sun, moseying down Melrose and bumping into Hollywood’s finest... Jealous, us?
