Skiing in Style...
Published on Friday 11th January 2008
With one sister starting up her own ski company, it seems only right that the rest of the family make a visit or two each year to see her (and of course to make the most of her spare room, no transfer cost and family & friends ski hire rates).
As you know, I like to look my best (and am slightly partial to a spot of shopping), so imagine my horror when my sisters (yes all three of them) told me that my ski outfit was slightly 80’s and could really do with a revamp. Imagine the shock. My ski outfit looking 80’s?
With only a couple of weeks till I jet off to Meribel, the time has come for me to invest in some stylish new ski wear (something that I slightly resent given you only wear it for a week or 2 a year), not only because I apparently look dated but also because this time I'm going with a group of 8 friends and let’s just say they love a bit of après (to say the least).
I imagine I’ll be looking pretty bleary eyed for a large majority of the week, so I need a good outfit to try and make up for it.
First stop Ellis Brigham. They stock all the best brands for the mountain and you can guarantee that you’re in good hands.
I've found two North Face jackets but just can't decide which... the Charlie Triclimate Jacket would look great with a pair of cream trousers for the sporty look, or I could go for this FallLine Jacket teamed with a pair of black salapets for a more chic look.
I'm still undecided. Maybe I'll check with a sister...
