Spread a little happiness...

Published on Friday 18th August 2006

I think I can safely say that I'm one of the most difficult people to buy a present for - for birthdays my girlfriends always join up to buy each other something special but when it came to my turn last year, one of them secretly asked me for a list of things I might like (oops, just let the cat out of the bag!) - because all those in the know, know, I just don't trust them.

But friends and family, if you're reading, you'll be delighted to know I've discovered a trustworthy gift source! The source in question is Happy Box London - a new company set up to help you give beautiful, inspired and creative gifts that'll not only make the receiver happy but that you'll be happy to give.

Each box contains two or three gifts from wonderfully luxurious brands, such as Daylesford Organic, Penhaligon's, Natural Magic and Mama Mio, thoughtfully put together for the appropriate recipient. For a baby,

a wedding, a good luck cheer or a thank you, or just because you want to (whether it's the cashmere socks, the solid silver rattle or the vintage organic Somerset cheddar) there's something to raise a smile in everyone.

It all comes packaged in a divine pale yellow gift box, hand-tied with a brown satin ribbon, and if you've left it till the last minute, they can be delivered nationwide the very next day - so everyone's happy!
