Okay, so I know spring-summer has been quite the treacherous lover of late... showering us with awaited attention one moment, disappearing without a word the next, leaving us unhappy and aching with longing. Sigh.

clipboard01But in my glass-half-full world we ought not to dwell on this. Instead let’s think about how good summer feels when it’s here... especially how it s-l-o-w-s things down.

Ever see anyone strolling slowly down the street smiling at themselves in November? Ever see two people sitting deep in conversation on a bench lingering over their lunch in December? Didn’t think so. Summer is slowtime.

Slow time is for slow fashion. Learn about the true cost of some of the ‘so-cheap-they’re-disposable’ clothes you’ve brought home by the bagful(s). Make room in your closet for fashion that is more mindfully created and has a longer life... the planet will thank you for it.
