The Blouse Is Back...

A/W is finally hitting the shelves (thank God) and it seems that my favourite item of clothing and wardrobe staple is here to stay! Yup, the blouse is having a serious revival and has been seen on every catwalk across the globe.

With everyone joining in from Chloe to Cavalli, long gone is the image of dowdy librarians and in comes sleek and stylish floaty frills.

They’re beginning to hit stores now (thank God the fashion industry's one step ahead of us with this weather... summer what? 4 days? Is that all we get?) and DVF’s Philippine Blouse is my absolute favourite.

But unless the economy pulls its socks up asap the high street might be the next best thing.

Warehouse’s Gothic Long Sleeve Blouse could work as the perfect substitute and after a spring clean and virtuous drop off at the charity shop on the weekend, I’m sure there’s space to squeeze one of them in...
