What to Wear to a Winter Wedding...
Published on Monday 26th October 2009
The age old question: what to wear to a winter wedding. Tights is a must but how thick (black opaques can look harsh), long or short sleeves (dancing to consider), coat vs jacket... and on it goes.
With one of my greatest girlfriends tying the knot in under two weeks' time (I’m super excited for them and he’s a dream) you’d have thought these decisions would have long since been made.
But with a house move, an office move (next week), the lurgy hitting us all and lots of new SL developments (our boutique is coming soon!), there simply hasn’t been a spare second.
I had planned to pop to Suzannah’s new London boutique and choose a fabric for the Petal Sculpt (the shape is soooo flattering) but needless to say, I haven't made it there.
So instead I’ve gone for the easy option and ordered online. Selected Femme is my new favourite label – simple shapes and cuts with a twist on timeless classic.
I fell in love with the back of this LBD and when I tried it on 24 hours later it didn’t disappoint. My new Selected Femme coat and long black leather gloves will keep me warm and toasty until we sit down to dinner. At which point anything goes.
