Starting with a fab makeover by MAC , thanks to Kat and her wonderful palette of goodies I managed to mingle with fellow fashionistas at London Fashion Week with a professional ‘glow’ and ready to hit the ground running.
Already a huge fan of their makeup and never without their Stubborn Brown eyeliner and Underage Lipglass, I have now been totally enticed by their Smoke Signals range and Matte eyeshadows.
Next stop was the accessories hall where there was almost too much to take in. Brimming with the latest jewellery and must have bags around, it was hard to find the pick of the bunch. Seeing the unimaginably charming and delicate pieces by Alex Monroe (way exceeding my expectations) to the bold, bright and chunky items by Mawi , I could see my credit card melting with every step.
Bags’ being my weakness the next part was quite hard. Surrounded by scrummy leather from wall to wall, I was for a few hours in a dream world. For soft and slouchy, no one does it better than Belen Echandia .
Her new signature pink crystals make the most gorgeous finishing touch to the most irresistible bags around and I seriously recommend a look at her website. Once you’re there, it’s hard to turn back.
And for all you sports fans out there keep an eye on Alison Van Der Lande’s website. Yummy Mummys to City Slickers should not be seen without her new elegant leather racket covers which will be on sale in the next month or so. Take my word for it; you’ll be the envy of everyone at clubs across the country, from David Lloyd to the Hurlingham.
