This year I've already done about 90% of my Christmas shopping and it’s not even the 1st of December. Yes I'm gloating, my halo is shining and I'm not shy to admit it.
With only a small space left to fill under the Christmas tree, I was beginning to wonder what on earth I was going to do with my evenings now that online Christmas shopping was off the agenda...
With so many Christmas festivities in the next few weeks I'm savouring my last few nights in for the forseeable future, and decided to put them to good use and make my own Christmas list. And as I made my list, it soon became crystal clear; all those buying for me were going to need to remortgage their houses or win the lottery, and PDQ.
Warning friends and family, I have expensive taste. (Though I think you might already know that.)
Top of my list is a new handbag but putting the task of choosing it in the hands of another is somewhat riske to say the least. So friends and family I hope you're reading...
Point 1: Unless money is no object, if it's going to be pricey, my advice is always to go for something classic so you a) get your money's worth and b) don't have to deal with complaints when you’ve binned it with last season's fashion trends.
Point 2: Every year I have the challenge of trying to make the boyfriend (men just don’t get it)understand that if he buys me a black patent bag (Anya Hindmarch do have a gorgeous one this season) for Christmas, then there's absolutely no chance that I'll be using it in come summer. Black patent in summer... a ridiciulous thought.
So, after some serious deliberation, Mulberry has come up with the answer. They have some gorgeous new bags for spring summer; I need classic and no one does it better. Their Agyness is both current and timelss, is sure to look better with age and if I was given it in Mushroom, could potentially be put to use all year round. Perfect!
