I don’t know what prompted it, but there seems to be a lot of pregnant mums having babies in April.....was there a power cut? I’ve just been asked to book a feature weekend with Cupcake Mum (who has the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted) where we’ll be hosting a luxury antenatal course in March. We’ve arranged mum-to-be treatments for the ladies and future daddies get a "dad skills session"…do you think I could book a massage even though I'm not a mum2b?

heidi-klein-delfi-one-piece-2.jpg I'm kidding. I have however indulged and booked a fabulous spa day at Gleneagles with some girlfriends. Everyone needs a little rest and relaxation (every mum should have a bit of time to herself, or at least that’s what I told Mr M) - I call it a battery charge!

I always make sure I take a good book – I’m currently reviewing How to Calm a Challenging Child by Miriam Chachamu (ideal if your child is not the little angel you dreamed of) - not your typical holiday read, but it's turning out to be a really inspiring read.

So book in hand and swimming costume in tow (I’ve used the day as an excuse to invest in a gorgeous new number courtesy of Heidi Klein), I’m so looking forward to some ‘me’ time. I'll let you know how I get on…
