There are shopping tasks that I love. Shoes, party dresses and birthday gifts are fun. Then there are some things which make me cry with frustration at times. These include: a) any shopping for men’s presents, b) finding the perfect pair of jeans and c) swimming costume shopping. I hate it, I hate it, i hate it...
A few years ago I lived in Dubai where a good swimming costume was essential. This was partly because it was hot so we were on the beach and by pools a lot. And partly because all the other women on the beach and by the pool were stunning(gorgeous Lebanese women and all the WAGS too).
I then moved somewhere cooler and am happy to keep my beach body more under wraps. In two weeks though I’m off for a fantastic holiday and I'm definitely not ‘beach fit’. So a good swimming costume is even more essential.
Clever Speedo have launched a new range called Sculpture which promise to be ‘body supporting’. This is a good idea as previously their swimming costumes have been better for flat-chested athletes. Not sure how they’ll look in real life but haven’t been able to check it.
Much to my distress these aren’t available online (everything should be online in my humble opinion) – sort it out [Figleaves==http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p(170)a(1338019)g(19353)url(http://www.figleaves.com/uk/home.asp?cm_re=header-_-leftlogo-_-logo)] or Net-a-Porter – we need an equivalent.
Going to try a gorgeous looking red one from Heidi Klein which has a cunningly distracting frill around the décolletage. It may make me look a bit Babs Windsor but it's worth a go.
Any advice on fantastic swimming costumes that are one-piece but don’t make me look like Hatti Jaques, would be most welcome.
