Whether it's a pastel or a neon, yellow is THE colour of the season this Spring / Summer and whilst fashion trends are – in my house hold at least – not something that I particularly want to see a one year old following, it is nice to nod towards them here and there.
So my little Coco was treated to
neon pink skinny jeans courtesy of Zara last weekend (that’s about as fashion forward as it gets and to balance, they’ll be teamed with a traditional white Peter Pan collar blouse) and a few new pieces from none other than
Bonnie Baby.
I’ve long been a fan of BB (I’ve given more ‘
Apple of Daddy’s Eye’ jumpers as new born pressies than anything else) and was thrilled to see them launch such a brilliant transactional site in time for the new season complete with a collection that’s their best yet.
The new in
Darwin cotton shorts,
Drew jeans and
Dillon dungarees (in sorbet – pastel shades are rivalling neons for this season’s biggest trend) are all high on my wish list as is the
Ophelia cardigan in primrose and powder.
I struggle to find good cardigans for Coco and BB is always a safe bet. For the past 9 months she has quite literally lived in the
Kylie cardigan (one size after another) and for S/S she is already the proud owner of the
Ivy in cream and primrose along with the matching
Imogen dress. And whilst warmer weather doesn’t appear to be anywhere on the horizon a pair of white tights and a warm vest (plus lots of central heating whilst my other half’s at work) means she can start to wear them now...
