My boy and I don’t really tend to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a big way, and sometimes I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that it’s often sneered at and looked down upon as a Hallmark holiday. Actually, I think it’s a good excuse to show our appreciation for one another even more than usual and, ya know, he should take the opportunity to spoil me and shower me with gifts and stuff.

As a not so subtle hint I’ve sent him a link to this collection by London-based designer Phoebe Coleman. It’s sweet and delicate and not at all cringe-inducing or schmaltzy – the antidote to fluffy bunnies and petrol station-bought chocolate.
