Rosie is a 23 year-old budding journalist and SheerLuxe’s most recent intern. The biggest challenge she faces is trying to resist the temptation of buying everything she sees on the site, which would be a lot easier if she wasn’t a raving shopaholic! Karen Millen, Topshop and Zara are some of her favourite shops.

As an English Literature & Language graduate, Rosie attempts to challenge the stereotypes of being a typical Essex girl, despite being fully aware of her accent (something she intends to work on). Rosie loves house and dance music, theatre, fashion and celebrities. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s out socialising with friends, which normally involves a bottle of rosé or two.

Rosie recently completed an NCTJ Journalism diploma in Wimbledon and has finally joined the working world to pursue her dream, which so far she loves.
Sequin Dress
I seem to have a reoccurring problem at the moment, one that haunts me every Friday. What can I rustle up to wear for that Saturday night out on the town?

I have two options here, the same options I have every week. Do I dig a little deeper into my pocket, in the hope that I’m going to miraculously find enough money to buy the dress I’ve just seen screaming at me in Topshop? Or do I try and resurrect something in my abysmal, poor excuse for a wardrobe? I decide to take the sensible approach and go for the latter, daydreaming about how I’m going to shop till I drop when I receive my first wage packet.

Nonetheless, I torment myself some more and decide to browse ASOS, biting my nails as my cursor naturally moves to the ‘purchase now’ button. Much to my delight, I see a dress similar to the one I had just spotted in Topshop and the best bit is it’s almost half the price. Bargain!

Although I didn’t have it in time for last weekend’s drink-filled session, I can rest assured knowing that I will be fully prepared this week.
