Cornelia James
After the war, in a world drab by rationing, the leather gloves that Cornelia James made in a huge range of colours became fashion essentials. In 1952 the then Princess Elizabeth chose Cornelia to make the gloves for her 'going-away' outfit following her marriage to Prince Philip.
Since 1986 Cornelia James have been glovemakers 'by appointment' to the Queen. Today there is an array of gloves for all occasions, beautiful faux fur stoles that tie up with ribbon and snuggley sumptuous scarves.
