Welcome to May's Editor's Picks... Weddings, days at the races, garden parties... summer season events are starting to fill the diary. Think ahead and plan your outfits now; work out who you’ll be seeing, what the dress code is and what you can and can’t wear on repeat.

 For the footwear fashionista we’ve some serious strappies that aren’t for the feint hearted. If the economic crunch is biting (our high street best buys show that a tighter budget needn’t mean compromising on style) keep spenny purchases to a minimum; opt to splash your cash on killer shoes that CAN, unlike that dress that you wore to your best friend’s wedding, be worn again.
 Thanks to the likes of Vinnie Day and Zoe & Morgan, the hoop earring has come on leaps and bounds of late; plain is the staple in every girl’s accessories wardrobe but we’ve hunted high and low to bring you a selection of fabulous fashion hoops with a difference. All yellow gold of course.
