A Hint of A Tint...

Beauty junkies won’t have missed their cue from the unseasonably fabulous weather of the last few weeks: summer will be swinging by any day now so it’s time to update your makeup bag for the new season. Summer makeup should be kept as fresh as possible – think glossy lips, lids splashed with colour and a kiss of sun on cheeks – but you do still need a decent base and while foundation is great for hiding a multitude of winter-related skincare issues, throw in a little heat and humidity and it does tend to slip, slide and melt.
You’ll achieve far more natural results if you exchange your regular foundation for a lighter formula so invest in a moisturiser with a hint of colour along with plenty of nourishing ingredients to protect against sun damage for the most sensible solution. A good quality formula will give you great coverage on uneven areas, freckles will peek through perfectly and, best of all, you can smooth it on in just a few seconds with no worries about dodgy tidemarks.
