Bags Of Beauty...
Saturday 15th September 2007 by Elizabeth Richards

Big bags are back so celebrate fashion week – and Anna Wintour’s return to the British shows – with a choice investment from this season’s collections. But remember, filling it to the max is simply not stylish. A heavy handbag equals sore shoulders and poor posture so resist the temptation to tote your entire beauty kit from home to work and back again.

Instead, look good on the go – whether you’re on the dance floor or out on the school run – with a selection of handbag-sized, perfectly portable products for face and body. Choose dinky wand-style stains for lips and cheeks, oil-absorbing sheets and gels to keep skin fresh and nourishing multi-tasking balms for hands and lips. And with most cult products reproduced in miniature form for summer travel kits, now’s the time to snap them up to get through winter in style.

Benefit Pocket Pal, £14.50

It’s designed for lips but we also use it out and about to give cheeks a healthy bite of colour.
