With 29 shopping days (count them) left, Christmas may still be a whole month away but smart cookies will already have their gift-buying organised. For everyone else, this is the week to think about making a start. Kids and cousins are easy to buy for – books and toys – as are dads and boyfriends (gadgets, gizmos and vouchers for rides in fast cars). Click, pay, done!
But what about your lovely mum? Utter dream of a girlfriend? Sister, daughter, grannny? Sometimes it’s those closest to us who are the most challenging to choose for.
