Salt Scrubs

 The last couple of weeks may have been more wind and rain than sunshine and showers but regardless of the weather, there’s no getting around the fact that spring has arrived. The first warm spell of the season is bound to be just around the corner so make sure you’re prepped, primed and ready to reveal a bit of flesh with a body scrub for weekly or twice weekly use.
A good handful applied with brisk but gentle circular movements will slough away dead skin cells and pep up a sluggish circulation whilst delivering a radiant glow to pasty winter-worn limbs. There’s a heavenly host of gel and cream formulas available but our favourite for this time of year – when skin tends to be dry and rough – is a luxurious salt-based scrub with essential oils for sleeker, smoother skin in just a few seconds.
