Yummy Mummy Swimwear Thursday 5th June 2008 by Dulwich Mum
Bea Parry-Jones is a late thirty something mother of two. She’s author of hugely successful blog Dulwichmum , in which she documents her efforts to avoid absolute lunacy and remain on the right side of conscientious parenting. She and her husband spend a small fortune on private education, Baby Boden, Babybels and the au pairs gym membership.
Bea’s first novel “Sex Lies and Sellotape – confessions of a Dulwich mum” will be published in 2008.
I’m delighted to report that my diet and fitness regime has been a complete success and without so much as a gastric band (gasp!), I have managed to shed my excess seven ounces.
I am, once more, toned and pert, in short, beach body perfect (well almost). I passionately believe that a regime of good diet and exercise is the only way to achieve an immaculate physique. I may even consider filming a fitness DVD!
This weekend I’ve scheduled a pre holiday trip to my hairdresser (it’s highlight time) and a super speedy trip to St Tropez (for the best and safest tan money can buy) in addition to all of my routine maintenance: facial, mani, pedi, eyebrow threading, leg and bikini wax (apparently extreme bikini waxing is all the rage OHMYGOD).
All that's left is to simply select the perfect beach wear to accentuate my figure. I am such a simple girl...
Heidi Klein have the perfect simple and sexy one piece suit with ultra flattering bust shaping and neck line detracting from the areas one doesn't want to draw attention to!
An ingenious cut, under wiring, padding and even a tummy control panel should be prioritised if a girl intends to enhance her assets. A one piece swimsuit is the ideal solution for any new mother seeking hidden support or wishing to conceal striae gravidarum.
Miracelsuit is the label that should be on every lady’s list – at least the ones looking to disguise their not so good bits and any post pregnancy bulges. Apparently their one-pieces knock ten pounds off you in 10 seconds... I’m buying the lot!
For those that are pregnant this summer season, think the tankini; they're fashionable, practical and infinitely wearable. Melissa Odabash three piece is so very versatile and even more glamorous.
Flowing luxurious fabrics, crisp cottons, interesting stitching and co-ordinating kaftans, sarongs and smock dresses mean that beachwear today means you a) need not stop with a swimsuit and b) can hide all those unwanted lump and bumps!
Dulwich Mum is dead keen on Elizabeth Hurley’s range of beachwear (the Camille top pictured left is simply the chicest thing ever)... created by one yummy mummy for another!
All we need now is a little global warming and we can all head for the beach at last!
