With autumn slowly giving way to winter, now is the time to drop the casual summer regime – quick shower and a drop of body lotion – and fall for something a little more luxurious. And with the return of glamour, this winter is all about the bath tub. A long hot soak will chase away the blues, warm the soul, dissolve tension and loosen cold muscles. So forget scrubs and gels and plump instead for the most treasured of beauty products: the bath oil.
Depending on strength (always check directions), anything from a few drops to a couple of capfuls has the power to revive or relax mind and body while softening and scenting the skin for indulgence that lasts through bath time and beyond.
