A Romantic Tale...

Constance Eyre is our site of the week and the story of how her knitwear label began is both romantic and inspirational...
Constance Eyre first took up knitting in 2001 after buying an old knitting machine. She taught herself all the basics and soon created her first 'Camelia' sweater that she still makes today. She began collecting vintage knitting patterns from the 30's and 40's and started to learn the stitches and techniques that were used at that time so she could emulate the style and shape.
Constance has fast become a very talented lady and having worked for none other than Elspeth Gibson, you wouldn't expect anything else.
For summer you’ll find a high quality, romantic collection of vintagesque dresses and candy colours cardigans and sweaters, just the thing for those cool English summer evenings.
