Must-have bags seem to be creeping up and up in price. It wasn’t that long ago that £500 credit on your card would be more than enough (Birkin aside) to bag you the latest hot holdall but it now seems de rigeur to shell out £750 for your Paddington, your Stam or your Novak and even then, you’ll find yourself contemplating whether you could strech to the Beaton.
