Must-have bags seem to be creeping up and up in price. It wasn’t that long ago that £500 credit on your card would be more than enough (Birkin aside) to bag you the latest hot holdall but it now seems de rigeur to shell out £750 for your Paddington, your Stam or your Novak and even then, you’ll find yourself contemplating whether you could strech to the Beaton. Perhaps if you were to give up that early morning Starbucks for a month or two…
