No One Hit Wonder...

When we laid eyes on Lydia Courteille’s collection everything else stopped. It was the rose ring (pictured) that got our attention and when we went on to check out the rest of the collection and see whether this stunning piece was just a one hit wonder, we were not disappointed.
 Lydia Courteille  creates one off pieces incorporating antiques; some of her oldest rare and precious stones and pieces find their roots in 16th century and whether following her take on the gothic, or pursuing her love of the outdoors and the creatures that inhabit them she remains true to her artistic vision.
Skull rings made with bone are at juxtaposition to turquoise flowers with petals edged in diamonds... yet the intricate detail and instantly recognisable style of each piece unifies this inimitable and undeniably delicious collection.
Perhaps we better start saving...
