They might be the current denim du jour but personally I just don’t dig the flare. And this thing about them being so flattering I just don’t dig either. Surely the bulkiness of them isn’t slimming at all. If you’re after slimming and you’re figure is more Catherine Zeta Jones that Kate Moss I’d suggest you stick to our trusted friend the boot leg.

To throw a bit more dilemma into the denim pot we’ve now got the option of a high waist to ponder over too (if you hate hanging over your jeans with undies in full view and / or post child birth your ironing board has never quite returned, then these are for you). And with Spring finally here does one invest in blue dyes that we can wear most of the year round or do we go a La Liz, for totally impractical, but undeniably fabulous white wash?
