The New Size 0...

I’m just not into technology, in fact I’m positively backward when it comes to it (surprising I know for someone who run’s a website!). My ipod is currently collecting more dust than the top of my pictures and if I hadn’t won it in a competition a couple of years ago I’d probably still be taking my discman to the beach.

With this in mind I’m surprised to be writing about the new Prada Phone by LG. When I heard that LG were launching a mobile in conjunction with Prada, I thought it sounded ridiculously over the top and yet another way for the phone companies (and Prada) to clean up. Which of course it is, but I’m sorry to say that as much as I wanted to hate it, I'm really rather drawn to the phone in question…

Not only is it sleek, sexy and the new size 0 – so slim that it’ll fit into your back pocket or your clutch whilst you’re out on the town, but it has also got a 2-megapixel camera phone and thanks to the wide touch-controlled screen it doesn’t have a keypad (a world first). The menu icons glow when you’re using them and fade to black when you aren’t. In short, it delivers on function as well as high style, and really is a bit of a must-have.

And when you consider how much time we spend with our phone glued to ear – it’s not surprising that we don’t want it to let the side down...
