5 Reasons You Should Make This Salon Your New Hair Destination

5 Reasons You Should Make This Salon Your New Hair Destination

For their brilliant cuts and blow-dries, Headmasters is a firm favourite among editors and industry insiders alike. Whether you’re looking for a style overhaul, colour change or just a quick trim, they’ve got your needs covered. Here are five reasons they’re worth going to…
CREATED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HEADMASTERS

1. You Can Get Health-Focused Hair Cuts

Unique to Headmasters, a ‘healthy hair micro trim’ promotes fuller, longer hair. Created with Harley Street nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert, this is a regime – customised for you – to keep strands in peak condition. At £49, it’s an investment, but one worth making for the maintenance of your hair. The treatment starts with a prescriptive cleanse and condition, before the hair is dried, detangled and cut swiftly to remove split ends through the mid lengths to the ends. You’ll also receive Rhiannon’s takeaway tips for healthy hair, including the right foods to eat and the importance of vitamin A for lacklustre strands. It’s an ideal option for anyone wanting to maintain length, but seeking a glossy cut nonetheless.

2. They Offer Last-Minute Bookings

One of our favourite things about Headmasters is their clever online booking system, which allows you to make appointments at short notice. Unlike other prestigious salons, you can find appointments on the day, including blow-dries, cuts and even a full head of colour. Just log onto Headmasters.com and click the ‘Book Last-Minute’ side tab to check yourself in. You can also pick your favourite stylist, but if they’re not available – rest assured – all of their experts are highly reputable with similar levels of training and technique. If you’re after a particularly sharp cut, we recommend seeking out Jonathan Soons at the Mayfair salon, based on our own experience. For colour, Gareth Williams is Headmasters’ Head Colour Lead and the go-to guy for industry insiders seeking unique shades and new colour techniques. But they also have 145 colour experts across the group. Andrew Barton is the Creative Director leading the artistic team.

3. Accessibility Is One Of Their Biggest Pros

We don’t just mean that last-minute bookings option. Headmasters has 56 salons, from Balham right through to Paddington and Brighton. Wherever you’re based, you’ll likely be able to find one close to your doorstep or office.

4. The Styling Menu Caters To All Needs

Headmasters’ cut, colour and styling services are world-class, but their vast expertise allows them to break away from traditional salon menus. As well as offering everything including occasion hair for weddings, proms and special events, they have also introduced a braid and wave menu, using express hot-tool styling for something that’s fun and a bit different. The best bit? It’s speedy, at a maximum of 15 minutes for £15. Then you also have their perm and straightening treatments, including a Keratin smoothing blow-dry at some salons – we can attest to its sleek, glossy results that last for months.

5. VIPs Get Special Discounts Off Every Appointment

It’s free and easy to sign up to the Headmasters VIP club – and well worth it. You get 25% off every appointment through Monday to Friday (9am-4pm) and 10% off at all other times.
