SING YOUR HEART OUT HERE: Picturehouse Central
Bohemian Rhapsody traces the meteoric rise of Queen through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Freddie Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and the band’s triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid. In honour of this weekend’s Academy Awards – where lead Remi Malek is a hot favourite for ‘best actor’ – Picturehouse is reshowing the film as a sing-along version, with the lyrics shown live on screen. The perfect chance to catch the film if you missed it the first time around.

WATCH THIS: Boy Erased
Jared Eamons (Lucas Hedges), the son of a small-town Baptist pastor, must overcome the fallout after being outed as gay to his parents. His father and mother struggle to reconcile their love for their son with their beliefs. Fearing a loss of family, friends and community, Jared is pressured into attending a gay conversion therapy program. While there, he comes into conflict with its leader and begins his journey to finding his own voice and accepting his true self. Stars Nicole Kidman, Joe Alwyn, Russell Crow and Joel Edgerton.

TAKE THE KIDS HERE: Coal Drops Yard
Coal Drops Yard, the recently opened shopping and restaurant district in King’s Cross, has a range of kid-friendly events in store over the February half-term holiday. The programme is designed to inspire and engage young minds and includes mindful play sessions, installations, free events and in-store activations. Of the lot, we like the sound of ‘Slime!’, held each day from 10am-5pm. Here, kids can create their own slime using weird and bizarre ingredients and test their creations on a giant slime wall – well away from your own home. On Friday, Store Workshop will host a bricklaying class for kids from eight-12-years-old. Here, the humble brick will be elevated to art as your little ones learn how to build air bricks and coloured mortar.

GET STYLISH HERE: The Berkeley
This season’s Prêt-à-Portea at The Berkeley sees the iconic designs of the House of Dior take centre stage for a solo show inspired by Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams at the V&A museum. Working exclusively with Dior, The Berkeley’s edible shrine adds an innovative twist on a traditional afternoon tea. We like the look of the Bar Suit, part of Christian Dior’s debut collection, which has been reimagined as a chocolate biscuit embellished with cream royal icing. The collection also includes a red velvet cake inspired by the Lady Dior Handbag and a bottle of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum reimagined as a lychee and raspberry cake glazed with pink icing and an oversized edible silver bow. They’re almost too good to eat.

CHECK OUT A HOT POP-UP HERE: Iberica x Casa Marcial
Casa Marcial is the most celebrated restaurant in Asturias, and renowned for head chef Nacho Manzano's modern interpretations of traditional recipes. He is also the executive chef of Iberica, the London chain of Spanish restaurants. For one week from 25th February, Manzano will bring his two-Michelin-starred Casa Marcial experience to London. Popping up at Iberica in Victoria, expect to sample the likes of crispy seaweed with lemon reduction and clams with seaweed puree.

PREP FOR THE SUMMER’S MUST-SEE FILM HERE: Joe Allen
On Sunday, New York-style brasserie Joe Allen is inviting members from the cast of neighbouring production The Lion King to perform live in the restaurant. Cast members will take to the stage to perform a series of their favourite musical scores by Aretha Franklin, Stephen Sondheim, as well as traditional African melodies. While the cast performs, guests can tuck into to Joe’s brunch menu, including ricotta pancakes with maple syrup and sweetened mascarpone; grilled steak and eggs with hash browns and tomatoes; lobster brioche roll with poached lobster, spicy mayonnaise and French fries; and macaroni cheese, with tomato and shallot salad. Classic cocktails include white peach prosecco bellinis, alongside freshly-brewed Paradiso coffee.

The Wardrobe Workshop is a two-way platform, showcasing shoppable independent brands while also reviving pre-loved items. TRY A NEW ROAST HERE: Fifteen
Jamie Oliver’s first-ever restaurant, Fifteen, has launched a new Sunday roast aimed at those after a lazy weekend. With a menu featuring beautiful cuts of meat and everyone’s favourite sides, guests can indulge in the likes of aged beef rump with pickled beetroot, walnuts and horseradish cream, or Tamworth pork rack served with celeriac purée and apple sauce. Those after a big one can add free-flowing champagne for £22pp, or wine for £15pp.

EAT FOR FREE AT: Little Kolkata
Start the weekend off early at this Bengali restaurant in Covent Garden, Little Kolkata. Specialising in regional Kolkata dishes such as Momos (Tibetan dumplings), Indo Chinese Chicken (crisp spiced chicken) and Kati Rolls (our favourite), the restaurant have just launched a takeaway option for affordable eats on-the-go. To celebrate, this Friday between 12pm-3pm, they'll be giving away complimentary full-sized Kati Rolls. Choose from two of their favourites; Masala Aloo (Spicy potato) and Kolkata Style Chicken wrapped in crisp paratha bread layered with egg omelette and served with salad, sauces, chilli and lime. Lunch is on them.
